Manufacturing Shift Lead – 2nd Shift

We are in search of a self-motivated, team-first leader individual for our Manufacturing Shift Lead role to support operations at our Cleves location.  The ideal candidate for our Manufacturing Shift Lead will align with our core values of integrity, commitment, growth and partnership, and bring a servant leader mentality to everything they do!
 
The hours are Monday – Thursday from 3pm - 1am with overtime required, as needed.
 
JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, the Manufacturing Shift Lead will oversee manufacturing areas on the shop floor. This includes assembly, machining, saw, press, forming, and general fabrication. The Manufacturing Shift Lead will ensure smooth workflow, support training and development, uphold quality standards, and help drive safety and accountability within the team. 
 
Job Duties:
  • Lead and support daily production activities across non-weld departments. 
  • Coordinate personnel and workflow to meet production schedules and priorities in coordination with the Supervisor. 
  • Drive safety, quality, and efficiency, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded. 
  • Coach and develop team members through hands-on support, training, and feedback. 
  • Enforce safety policies and promote a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Communicate with the Supervisor on staffing, job progress, and potential issues. 
  • Jump in where needed - this is a working leadership role. 
  • Ensure regular and reliable attendance and support a positive team dynamic. 
 
Candidate Requirements:
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • 2-3 years of previous experience running manufacturing/production machinery or similar environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A team focused leader who is dependable, accountable and not afraid to get their hands dirty. 
  • Comfortable with basic computer work, (Excel, data entry, etc.)
